This is my very first oil painting at conscious age. It was started off by father and abandoned in 1992 at underpainting stage. I finished it in 2012.
The medium is primed masonite. Colors are pupillary, where cheap pygments are natural and expensive pygments are replaced by imitations (blue cobalt, for example).
The size is a quarter of the original. This imposed some difficulties in copying seashells with bristle brushes. Later on I guessed to buy kolinsky brushes, but that was for the next painting.
The only my thought during this work was "To what degree he had to be loaded to imagine such a complicated collective image of all jerkers?"
