Finally, I moved a couple of expiring domains to other registrar. I'm no longer an AWS user. I started disliking their services a year ago for a variety of reasons and the final drop was the absense of DNSSEC support for their Route53 hosted zones, and they charged $0.5 per zone! I don't know any other registrar who charges for maintaining a zone for registered domains.
Of course, if I'll have to use AWS at work or by a court order, I'll be able to do that. But I'll never use their services for my own projects.
Big tech sucks, that's the problem. I prefer to support small companies by using their services, which in most cases are less expensive than AWS.
